Bio

If you are born in Oberstdorf, you would probably get your winter sport gene automatically. Johannes loves his land and mountains of Allgäu. Even as a child he was amazed by cross-country and downhill skiing. Nevertheless, Johannes decided to dedicate himself to Nordic combined and got the first achievements very quick. As a 16-year-old he participated in his first World Cup, as a 18 received the first Olympic medal, as a 19 became three times silver World Championships medalist, in age of 22 he got the second Olympic medal, and in 23 he is a double World Champion. At leisure Johannes enjoys being together with his girlfriend, friends and family. He looks far and sure about his future after sports: he studies industrial engineering in Kempten.
